UKMASC
What Can MAS Do?
As a Club, our Members undertake a wide variety of activities. Find out what you can do with your MAS...

AGILITY
MAS are an agile breed of dog and many Members compete at both KC and UKA Agility, with dogs spanning all heights.

TRICKS / HTM
With their ability to learn new skills and tricks quickly and precisely, MAS can excel at trick training and even take part in heelwork to music.

SCENTWORK / TRACKING
Another sport our Members enjoy is scentwork - a sport which can be enjoyed by dogs and handler of any age.

SHOWING
Although not recognised in the UK, MAS are recognised in many countries in mainland Europe, offering members the chance to show their dogs.

OBEDIENCE / RALLY
As MAS love working as a team, many Members take part in KCGCS, competitive obedience or rally, with some displaying their talents at Crufts.

DISC DOG
Combine the agility of a MAS with their ability to learn tricks and you have a Disc Dog. While fairly new to the UK, Members have already had a go!

HERDING
MAS are born herding dogs, with good instinct for moving stock. The Club runs herding instinct days so Members can determine their own dog's ability.

THERAPY WORK
Some MAS are born therapy dogs, going on to work as Pets As Therapy, or assistance dogs for their owners.

FLYBALL
Fast-paced, exciting, and all about the ball... Flyball is a favourite for many athletic dogs, including MAS.
